In the book “The Fighting Ground” a boy name Jnathan had always dreamed of being in the Army wiht his dad. One day the bell in the small village rang and that signals…war. As soon as they heard the bell they started getting ready right away and head off on the roads. After a couple of days of walking they finally heard a drum beating symbolizing enemie. So they arose there guns and the war had started. Guns were being shot left and right and Jonathan standing there watching peole getting shot. Scared to death becasue of the weight of his gun. A few hours later Jonathan realized he had been shot in the leg. He awoke to be surrounded by the enemies. So does Jonathan survive? Also i would recomend this book for soemone who like a little bit of mystery and suspense!:)

The Book Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix is when a young girl named Bethany wonders why her mother hasn’t stopped crying all summer!

Soon after that Bethany was told to pack her stuff up and put in in the car. Once they got in the car Bethany didn ‘t ask where they were going and as usual her mom was sobbing. Bethany soon lost count of where she was and she asked her dad where they were going but he wouldn’t tell her. So she sat there thinking that they were probably going on one of those educational trips.

But when they arrived in the middle of no where she started to wonder again. Bethany got out of the car and looked around trying to figure out where she could possibly be. Her dad got out of the car and went to the door to talk to a woman that looked fairly old. She was told to get out of the and get her stuff and go into the house. She got there and was dropped off they said goodbye and left her there. Bethany tryed to call her dad’s cell phone..there was no reception she tryed her moms and still no reception so Bethany was now scared.

So will Bethany return home to her family, or will she have to adapt to her new life basically in the middle of no where?

The Graveyard Book is about how a young boy named Bod escapes from a killer that has already killed the rest of his family!

Bod is a brave, genious little boy who escaped from a murderer. He goes on a little adventure. Not the kind of nice adventure you would think of. He goes through a graveyard! This little boy shows up at the Owens grave. A Mr. and Mrs. They find that Bod is all by himslef so they raise him! The Owens were very excited to raise a baby! The only problem was is that they couldn’t touch,feel, or hold this precious little boy. They couldn’t because they were ghosts. Obviousy ghosts are dead and can’t hold live things if they are transparent themselves.

While Jack the killer is plotting to kill Bod, Bod is being raised by ghost parents and taking an ugly trip through the graveyard full of ghouls. The night Bod escapes Jack comes after him but is bewildered about how Bod got threw the chained up graveyard! Jack eventually meets someone who has a key and lets him in!

So does Jack kill Bod? If he did/does, does Jack get to meet his mom finally?? Or does Bod escape from Jack and live with his new ghost family that will know be held responsible for him. To find out i would definatley recomend this book to fantasy lovers and people who like really good books!

This Book is about Helen Keller’s life and how she lived being blind and deaf.

In the book”The World At Her Fingertips”, Helen Keller was only 19 months old when she had a terrible fever. Her mother ergentley ran her to the doctor’s office and no later found out her precious little girl was blind and deaf. Helen wasn’t different she just had to do things differently in order to learn things.Helen was very bright and yet everyone was amazed how she learned to read, write, and draw like a regular girl.

Helen was enrolled in school. Her teacher was Ms. Annie Sulivan, Ms. Sulivan tought Helen everything she would teach a kid who wasnt blind or deaf. When teaching Helen Keller it was more complex.Keller had soon enough blossemed into a very smart young girl.After finishing school she had attended Radcliffe College.

She no sooner after that starting living with Mr. and Mrs. Sulivan and they became her knew family.Helen Keller left an insparation all  over the world for people in her case.Yes, in Helen’s case it was hard but she went through it learned everything she needed to know and lived a long happy life.

i would reccomend this book to someone who would like to hear an amazing story on how someone who went through problems that started at a very young age and effected her life, made it and was an insparation to all.

The book Gilda Joyce Physic Investigator is about how a young girl named Gilda Joyce Goes to San Fransisco to visit her uncle that she has never even heard of until she asks her mom about him.Gilda writes a letter to her uncle Lester Splinter’s secretary Summer.She reads the letter from Gilda and she invites her to come to the Splinter mansion.When Gilda arrives she gets greeted by their housekeeper Rosa.Rosa tells her about how there are ghosts and spirits in the house.Also there is a secret Mr.Splinter never seems to talk about.Gilda found out what the secret was from Rosa.It was that his sister(Gilda’s Aunt Melanie)fell or supposivley purposely fell out of a window in their tower in their backyard.Gilda seems so interested in this because at home she did a lot of spying and she found out a lot of information out about strange people.Also Mr. Splinter has a daughter named Juliet.To Rosa and Summer she’s a brat.Juliet never seems to ever come out of her room or come downstairs to eat.One night Juliet decides to have her snobby friends over for a sleepover.They decided to do séance. A séance is where people gather around in a circle and try to talk to a dead person to try and figure out the mystery of their death.So Juliet and her Friends decided to do one.That night they had to go outside in the middle of the night to do it.Then after they did it Juliet’s dad comes out and ruins the entire thing.Also,well actually i cant tell you any more.You’ll just have to read to find out the rest!
